I placed a classified on the Rosehill website for a lost Siamese cat.  Well thanks to the fantastic support of the neighbors, and to Cynthia who helped me, Skippy is back home safe.

I’m sorry it’s taken me so long, but I wanted to thank both of you for the new 15 mph speed limit sign at the entrance to Wood Eden Lane and the Children At Play sign in the back near the original 15 mph sign.

I cannot speak for those who have children and their feelings about the Children at Play signs. However, as someone who uses the street frequently as a pedestrian, I greatly appreciate the new signs and I can already tell a difference. Traffic does seem to be slower for the most part, and that makes the street safer for all of us who walk on the street.

As I mentioned to both of you, virtually none of the residents, much less the visitors to Wood Eden, were ever aware the original 15 mph speed limit sign even existed. Now, thanks to your efforts, the street is posted at both ends and anyone using Wood Eden Lane has to drive by at least one of the signs.

While there will always be those who exceed the posted limit, the speed at which one exceeds 15 mph is likely to be lower than the speed that one exceeds 25 mph.

So, while I can’t speak for anyone else, I wanted you both to know how much I appreciated your efforts".
